We purchased a home in 2014 and had multiples issues since purchase. The biggest being drainage. We had one of the superindents come out a couple of months ago as our yard is the low spot from all three surrounding homes so anytime it rains it makes a lake in the yard. I was told sorry we can't help you because your dogs have changed the grade of the lot. Well funny thing is we had the dog in 2016 and the yard did not have this drainage issue. The difference is now we have a two houses behind us who know have all their run o... read more

I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Frisco. As a Realtor I could get a nice deal with ANY of the builders in DFW. The reason I went with Highland is simple. Experience, quality , and standing behind their product. I bought a Highland in Windsong Ranch in Prosper and every time we have family or friends over they are stunned by the beautiful home that Highland built for us. More important to us was the quality that Highland is famous for. I have Clients who bought a Highland and the 1st part of the warranty was out but Highla... read more

It has been great experience working with Highland Homes. We bought a new house in 2016 and the whole process was smooth. At the end of 1st year, they were quick to resolve all warranty related issues. Our neighboring builders damaged our sod by pushing sand under the fence which affected the drainage. Highland Homes fixed the drainage and installed new sod at their own expense. They are excellent when it comes to warranty/customer service.

As a Highland Home owner for 5 years in the Woodforest Neighborhood in Montgomery, TX I have a some time under my belt to provide a full assessment of Highland. Overall, the actual quality of the products they select and the workers they subcontract are sub-par. The quality of the "engineered floors" not real hardwoods, the cabinets with the laminate face bubbling off, the windows in mass failing. For a house supposed to be worth over $500,000 it is off the mark. Not surprising they use the same products in the $250K house a... read more
