Highland is coming up on its 20th year, and I'm happy to have been there for 19 of them so far! The non-coffee options are plentiful and delicious; there are treats that fit the bill for all types of dietary requirements; the space is comfortable and lively, without being too loud (nor too quiet); and the staff are fantastic 🖤
so many varieties of coffee and so many varieties of flavored whipped cream! I always order a half Highland Royale/half Swiss Mocha blended with toasted marshmallow whipped cream and it's the most delicious thing EVER
At 8:05 PM, they made an announcement that they close in 1 hour and 25 minutes, which I found odd. Then at ten minutes until close, they said they’d be closing in ten minutes. They also made a five-minute announcement. Those last two announcements were pretty legit and helpful for customers to know when to leave. However, at 9:28, they said they were closed, and at 9:30, they said across the room to my table “We’re closed.” Don’t you think I know that from the bajillion times you announced it?!
