The home-buying process with Meritage was straightforward and relatively smooth. Unfortunately, our experience changed significantly after closing. Once we needed warranty service, communication became extremely difficult. We received little to no follow-up regarding our concerns, and getting updates often required repeated calls and emails. If we could give zero stars to Meritage as a whole, we would. The home buying process is easy (they want your money), but after that you are left high and dry. We have attempted to contact upper management which appears non-existent. After your first year, nothing matters to them (even if you submitted a valid warrant claim well within the first year). Don't plan on hearing back from customer service or anyone else. We would love more great neighbors but wouldn't put our worst enemy through dealing with this builder/horrible... read more
Meritage Customer service has been horrible. Many home buyers in the community are having issues getting things repaired. Jose has shown some HORRIBLE customer service and Meritage a Has not stepped up to get repairs done.
Excellent community and location. Near Costco, Walmart, Target and I15. I got a home without any difficult. I super recommend
