My husband and I visited High Tides @Snack Jack yesterday around 6:00pm. We have always enjoyed eating their, however yesterday just wasn't their "best foot forward day". We ordered the Concn Fritters, which were awesome as usual; next we ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich and Cheese Steak sandwich w/ onion rings. The Crab Cake Sandwich was okay, as was the Cheese Steak... but the onion rings were VERY greasy! Always a MUST when we are in town! We cannot imagine ever coming to Ormond beach without visiting our friends at High Tides for the absolute best seafood in Flagler or Ormond Beach � � as long as you're here we'll keep coming :-)
We are vegans, and it's not easy to find restaurants that offer good food that we can eat. It's even harder to find beachside restaurants that offer vegan choices. High Tides at Snack Jacks is the exception--it offers great vegan choices and it's right on the beach! We camp just down the road at Gamble Rogers State Recreation Area, and every time we camp here we make sure to go to Snack Jacks.
