I had the crab dip for appetizer and haddock stuffed fish with mash and vegetable medley for entree...both dishes were good but I didn't taste the crab in either dish. I love it because my waitress Mandy made me feel at home! She took the time and explain the drinks and the food I ordered and didn't rush me at all. She was very busy, however, made time to make sure I was taken care of and that made my visit here the best her customer service! Thank you Mandy!!!
The food was good although the appetizer (bbq nachos) did come out incorrect and light on the toppings. Sat outside as the sun set and it was gorgeous. Service was very slow.
Great meal! I had the lobster bisque...best I have ever had. The cup serving probably had 1/2 c to 3/4 c fresh lobster that had not been overcooked ($8), Lobster roll (market price, $23, 9/20/2017). My husband had the excellent clam chowder and a steak with homemade french fries and broccoli ($14). Our server was a bright Texas college girl from a nearby private college who knew the menu and the area well and made excellent suggestions. We are from Florida and we have passed thru Bangor twice this year and always go to High Tide. Love the deck over looking the River and the food is wonderful.
Great restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere. Great river views. Very good food at reasonable prices. I dine here 3 or more days a week. Fun place with friendly attentive staff.
The best lobster roll I've had so far great service & a beautiful view would definitely recommend this to a friend.
My husband & I had dinner with friends & did not realize there would be live music going on that night. It was a great time. Very clean. The food and drinks were excellent and the waiter was the best ! Very personable & attentive. The place was full and everyone in there was having a great time. Will be our go to with friends to meet up now.
