Bait and switch – Was quoted one price on a rebuild over the phone on particular model transmission. When i got there, reaffirmed to owner what the model was ( he tired to get me to agree to a lesser model) and was quoted a price accordingly. After a drop off and $65 diagnosis charge, owner stated price was for cheaper model and quote added up to $900 more. We had already went through what model the truck was twice. Good place to get RIPPED OFF. – Simply put, we were sold a part that WE DID NOT NEED for almost $400! After the part was supposedly installed, the same EXACT problem persisted like nothing was done at all. We took it across town where it was diagnosed by an ACTUAL MECHANIC (rather than just a shade tree CON ARTIST). The diagnosis... the noise being made was perfectly normal for that make & model but it did need a little fluid. Best auto shop in Vegas! – Big repairs like transmission jobs can be a scary thing. Luckily, there are places like High Tech Transmission. Jeff, the manager, has been amazing throughout the entire repair job - From the 1st phone call to the day I drove away. The estimate I received in the beginning was exactly how much I paid.
