I would give zero stars if that was an option. They lie, and say one of our friendly customer service agents will return your call. No one has ever return my call and I have called daily leaving messages. Liz, Rodriguez, previously Liz Colurzo list herself as the manager over customer Service and business relations manager. The door quit working 5 months after purchase. The customer service team did not answer their phones during business hours & sent me to voicemail. The app does not work at all. Very expensive door that does not work! Do NOT buy from this company

Called customer service to see if there was something that could be done about the collar transmitter for the Power Pet door, since I hadn't received a response to my email from months ago. I explained to the woman I spoke with that I had installed the door approximately seven years ago, but have had to replace the sending unit for the door many, many times over the years. I have checked and replaced the batteries several times for each collar, but they still don't work consistently. The sending units are extremely expensive... read more
Horrible customer service. Their website states 100% satisfaction and the Manager, Liz, takes days to respond to emails. I ordered an xl door Aug/sept 2019 and it was on backorder. They said it would be 3 months when it came it. I waited and nothing. I had to send emails and call about the status. I finally got it in Feb 2020 and it was defective!!! Now they want to charge me a restocking fee for a faulty door!!! I will never be buying from this company and I urge everyone to stay away from this scam!!
Learn from my mistake and run far away!!! This door was somewhat convenient when first installed, but I quickly found that the transmitter didn't always work, which left my dog inside or outside at times. However, with the first hard rain, this door became a disaster. The door flap leaked water all over my floor, both under the flap and down through the body of the dog door. I love the concept of having an automatic dog door. Immediately after I had it installed the range knobs broke. They quickly sent new ones. The water proof ms5 collars are horrible! I have to replace the batteries weekly! The batteries are super expensive. I have called customer service numerous times to find out if I am doing something wrong. Thank you to the team at High Tech pet , i bought the 5 in 1 Bluefang to go with your power slide door and electric fence and have to say im very impressed with the product ! It works great at night when my Boxer decides he want to go out at 1am , now he can let himself out ! The collar is amazing it really is like a fit bit for my dog !!
I have been a loyal customer of High Tech Pet for over 10 years. I have always found their products to be of high quality and their customer service staff very helpful. I highly recommend this company.
I paid someone to install a dog door panel that is supposed to fit into my slider. Instructions were horrible. Both customer service agents gave different installation instruction and I didn't receive the correct parts. Once installed the only way to open existing slider would be to pull out a pin each time no other locking system included. Ended up returning the door and I still had to pay the person I hired to install it. Very disappointed.
