My daughter had a small wedding for just immediate family. She chose High Tea for her reception. They treated her and the entire wedding party like true royalty. They made every accommodation they could to ensure we had a fun and relaxing experience. I’d highly recommend this place!
Not what I thought it would be. Nobody greeted us when we came in, we had a reservation. I thought it would be more "in character" with the staff but that was not it at all. Was my daughter's birthday. They did have "happy birthday" framed but nothing special. The price to what you get is not worth it at all. The experience was not worth the price either. We’ve gone to High Tea several times, but the last couple times the service has been lacking. The most recent time we went, it took a while to put in our actual tea orders. Then, the waitress barely came back to check on our tea and water situation. We were never able to order our second teas and when she came with a bill, she said we “have ten more minutes, but no rush.” While delicious, this the waitress made it a little off putting this time - especially since it was NOT busy when we were there.
We were new to the experience and our server helped us through everything! We just got a dessert tray and tea and everything was so good we haven't stopped talking about it! Especially the desserts We can't wait to come back
Our high tea experience fell short in several ways. Right when you walk in, there’s a strange smell, and while the decor and fixtures set the scene, the furniture is sunken and uncomfortable. The pricing felt excessive with an automatic 3% service fee, an automatic 18% gratuity, and then a prompt asking for an additional tip after the card was already run.
