Our experience with this high-risk pregnancy center has been beyond frustrating. Throughout multiple visits, my wife and I have encountered nothing but confusion and frankly, what feels like deliberate attempts to overcharge us. The billing process is a nightmare. They consistently tried to slip in extra charges for unnecessary doctor visits that we had to comb through line by line to dispute. Good service, but horrible billing & reception support. My wife has had to use HRPCAZ for both of her pregnancies. The service has been good, and we have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Patel. Unfortunately, his billing team is completely inept. They have incorrectly billed our insurance and intentionally avoided the insurance company and my wife to get it resolved. The ultrasound tech was great. Very fast, thorough, and great at what she does. However, they did not verify insurance ahead of time to let me know what the cost would be. $2,770 for an anatomy scan with fetal echo is INSANITY. I didn't even speak to a doctor. Just the ultrasound. Insurance paid a huge chunk, but I still have a bill that is more than I have to pay. I didn't need the service that bad, and never would have gotten it. Dr. Patel was very informative and explained my issues very thoroughly and in a way easy to understand. The only downside is not having my ultrasound pictures readily printed at the visit and was told I would get an e mail or text with the pictures. They still haven’t come in yet although it’s only been about a week. When I called they couldn’t give me a time frame when I’ll receive them. However , overall my experience here has been good
Loved this practice! Highly would recommend for anyone needing an MFM.
