RecommendedI love the staff! Everyone is friendly and professional. This is the only vet that has helped my dogs chronic ear infection. Dr. Stair took extra time to talk and provide recommendations when I took in a Ferrell kitten.

I was there today and they after several attempts to draw blood and very unsocial hostile techs I refused to let them poke my dog with another needle in the chest, neck area to get blood and then repeatedly in his little arm. the rudeness was unbelievable. apparently the vet was in a scheduled surgery because they over booked. 1 hour and 30 minutes and have. not seen the vet nor any one else that mattered. beyond upset. walked out and left.
I'm so glad I switched to the groomer at High Ridge Animal Hospital for our dog, Angel. They all know her and make over her when she comes in, and it makes her more comfortable with her surroundings when she has to come in for her yearly vaccines.
Dr. Gwen and her staff is awesome!! We appreciate how much they love on our fur babies 💕💕
I’ve been seeing some pretty bad accusations towards High Ridge Animal Hospital on a few group pages on here... so I just want to share that I’ve been taking my dog here since he was a puppy. Unfortunately I moved and had to switch vets, but while being a client here myself and my dog were treated with nothing but respect. The staff was always incredibly friendly and professional and treated my fur baby amazing. I recommend 🙂
They put dogs under anesthesia for nail trims without owner consent and without the proper bloodwork, which caused a dog to DIE. They are refusing contact with the owner, and she has been advised to seek legal council. If you want your dog properly taken care of, DO NOT BRING IT HERE!!

I brought my dog Bluto here to have his nails trimmed. That's all, his nails trimmed. They took my boy in the back room and brought him back ten minutes later with his left rear paw a bloody mess. Horrified, I asked what happened and the technician told me Bluto wouldn't stand still and they accidentally cut into her leg with the trimmers. When I said I wanted to see whoever was in charge, out comes Mrs. High and Mighty, the vet, to tell me they weren't responsible if the dog wouldn't hold still.
