Completely traumatized my dog. I had to take my dog to an emergency vet the day after he was neutered. His incision site was not closed properly and they didn’t send me home with an E collar to prevent him from licking his incision site. My dog had an abnormal amount of bruising and I had to pay another $200 for the emergency vet to fix what they did to him. He is now terrified of going to the vet when he had no problems before. I am not one to post a negative review, however I would never recommend High Point Veterinary Hospital. I arrived for my appointment and called 20 times with no answers and I was hung up on 3 times. Horrible customer service and my dog is nervous now when we arrive. If they treat these animals like they treat their owners, I would never take any of my fur babies here. Who runs this place and where did they get their license? Multiple pets killed under their practice and somehow their doors are still open. Disgusting. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU WANT ANY CHANCE OF THEM SURVIVING. How dare you kill animals that are part of someone’s family with no remorse or explanation. Every doctor and vet tech at this establishment should be embarrassed and disgusted with themselves.
I don’t recommend anything about this place other than being shelter in an earthquake
They are killers I took my sweat baby in for a cold they gave him a injection of antibiotics by the end of day my baby could not walk paralyzed he spent two days there while they did nothing to find out what happen and in the end they couldn’t admit they did something wrong we had to take him to another vet we’re the only thing left to do was put him to sleep. A one year old with nothing more than a cold now dead by there hands. I would not advise anyone who loves there babies to use them.
There's "2 sides to every story" but just seeing the way they are talking to the family that just lost their fur baby is sickening enough and speaks for itself. I know I will never bring my fur babies here. I almost did once and am now thanking God I didn't.
RecommendedI highly recommend High Point Vet. Particularly, Dr. Puschinsky. Today, I had to make the difficult decision to end my dog Lacey's suffering and put her to sleep. Dr. P has been working with Lacey since the end of August and did everything she could to help Lacey get better. Unfortunately, Lacey was just not able to get better. Brought my cat here on July 30th (today is Aug 3) and we STILL have not gotten a treatment plan for my cat. We got a call Friday evening that my cat likely has a liver infection. apparently the vet that saw him did not leave any notes and hasn't been in the office. my cat is throwing up and pooping stomach bile, not moving, and rarely drinking, and not eating. High Point Veterinary Hospital has been our pets’ doctors for many years, and we have always received excellent care. But, we cannot put into words how very kind and considerate Dr. Diego and his assistant were to us this week, as we said goodbye to our 14 year old Colby!
