Now with two convenient Richmond locations in the Fan and Scotts Addition! Classic American Barbershop specializing in traditional mens haircuts and shaving. We also carry a full line of carefully curated Mens Grooming products. We currently work by appointment only and we offer same day appointments on a first call first served basis for a barber at each location. You can book over the phone or in person. Please note we do not book appointments via email/messenger.

I've been going since they opened and get a great cut every time, no exceptions.
Top notch hair cuts and beard trims. These guys work hard and always provide an awesome experience.

Came in this morning for my first time being a client at HP. With it being my first time there I was amazed all the barbers were cool from the time I walked in. The place is very laid back and takes you back in time with good real talented barbers not what the norm has became with these chain barber shops they take time to make sure the cut is smooth and sharp I have already set my next appointment with Patrick see yall guys next Tuesday thanks for the great cut!!
The cuts are great! That's not the whole story though. I'm an older guy. I've been in my share of barber's chairs. I never had as much fun relaxing in a chair. You never know who's going to come in or where the conversation will lead. God forbid you show up late! I think I'd rather fall on the proverbial sword. These guys are class acts with a little, no, a lot of horseplay thrown in. Everyone is invited to be verbally mauled and degraded equally (costumer and barber alike). From the first greeting saying "Welcome " to asking my name and remembering it when I left . It makes you feel like you belong there . Forget how long it takes you to get in there , when your there you are almost part of that group . I loved it . I will say Patrick did great . Can't wait to get in there in April a few days before my wedding .
Corey is my barber. Love they wrk he and everyone does! Amazing atmosphere and people. Very welcoming and just all around good people. Could t recent them more to anyone!
