Love this locally owned long lasting business
Was visiting the Prescott area from Phoenix for some biking last Friday. Front tire blew from an old tubeless set-up. Called High Gear and took the bike in to Johnny who took the bike immediately, reset my tubeless and got me out of there in about 15 minutes. Saved my day! Great price too. A great experience all around. Thank you, High Gear!!!

The owner was so rude, called a size XXL woman “Shamu” and laughed about it, so unprofessional! The guy employee behind the counter was making rude comments about women’s XXL clothes that employee Cindy behind the counter said she had special ordered for a customer. The guy said “must be for Shamu”. I needed a women’s larger size jersey too, which they obviously don’t carry. I told Cindy that I heard what the employee said. Sorry about your experience today. That is definitely not typical of our shop although everyone is definitely guilty of speaking prior to thinking and falling short of our own expectations. We do not claim to be perfect. Ever. But do try every day. At the end of the day that truly is all we can do.
High Gear has been serving the community for over 40 years. They are professional. The store is well stocked. The guys wrenching do an exceptional job. The staff goes above and beyond and everyone is very friendly.
Most experienced and professional shop in town. Always helpful and you feel like a friend rather then a customer!
Excellent customer service
Had quite a few issues with a new tire not seating on my rim, brought it in, and they were extremely friendly and helpful. They got my tire to seat quickly and helped finish the tubeless set up! Will definitely be coming back and supporting this shop!
