$8,000 paint job less than a year ago and it’s already pealing and is almost translucent in some places. Kurt won’t return my call.
RecommendedMy husband and I brought our 1973 Ericson 25 Centerboard sailboat to High and Dry Boatworks to have the bottom extensively reworked. Kurt gave us a reasonable quote up front then delivered exactly what he agreed to. They blasted off years of old bottom paint, sprayed coats of epoxy barrier coat, filled and faired the bottom and foils several times with long-boarding sanding in between to get a true hull curvature, sprayed on coats of Petit Black Widow racing paint, then finished off with a wet sanding to get a smooth and tru... read more
