What is wrong with this person? My wife expressed concerns about taking a certain medication that can worsen suicidal ideations. While she's expressing her concerns, he interrupts her (which he did frequently), tells her how long he's been practicing, and writes the script. I think he’s a very good psychiatrist, but here’s a problem if you have extreme anxiety, he does too, & it will bounce off him onto u. Bad. I had to bolt. I was to the point where I was a nervous wreck every time I had appointment with him not cuz he’s a bad guy, but cuz the anxiety was too much for me. For people this psychiatrist responded to: Consider filing a complaint. He is not allowed to response the way he is. It is a violation of HIPAA to even confirm or deny you were a patient. Other than that, I came here to say that he is a low tier psychiatrist. Says he is specializes in ADHD on his website but has a clear bias against ADHD medications, even for adults who were previously prescribed. Would not prescribe even after providing ASRS testing and ordering historical records. Would end sessions after just a handful of... read more
Harry definitely takes his time getting to know his patients and listening to find out what works best for them. With few psychiatrist I have seen, Harry is the most emphatic and helpful.
