The food and beer is good, but service continues to be incredibly slow. You think that with all the new breweries in town they would try to provide better service.

Las Cruces is like a second home for me. I come from Austin once a month and Hi Des is always my first stop! We have plenty of brew pubs in Austin, but none like this place! I like the Peach Wheat because no one has it where I'm from. Their nachos are fabulous and I have always enjoyed their menu options. Unassuming place, even with the GPS we drove pass it and had to turn around. Once you are inside the place is very nice! Good food, good locally brewed beer, great service, good people! We can recommend the place to everyone and we will defenatally will visit the place again.
We ordered the nachos to go and wanted no tomatoes. When I drove all the way back home, we found there were not only tomatoes but extra tomatoes. People in my home have allergies to tomatoes. Also the chips used were very very stale. When you bit into them they were very rubbery. When I called to complain about my order, I was offered a callback from the manager, Donna, who called me this morning. We were just passing through Las Cruces and were looking for a pet-friendly restaurant. This place was just what we were looking for. Casual and laid back. Great service. The food was delicious and their beer was tasty and refreshing. Loved the atmosphere on the patio; and they provided a bowl of water for our dog. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm ever back in Las Cruces.
