Had my first High Cotton experience for dinner yesterday and it was very enjoyable. BBQ sauces are delicious! I most enjoyed the pulled pork with its great tenderness and flavor. Fried chicken has a nice seasoning and the sauce on the ribs was killer! Only bummer was the brisket. I don't get a great brisket in Ohio often so was hoping to here. Had some hard chunks in the container and it came off with a pot roast quality. Maybe too long in foil with juices steaming it? Too high of temp? Not sure what your process is.
If you want the best BBQ on the beach or eastern NC. this is your place. Service is top notch staff is super friendly. You get your food very fast. I ordered the 2 meat combo and I could not eat it all. Serving size is big. If you looking for darn good BBQ do not pass this place up!!!
