High Cotton is ALWAYS our 1st stop when we get to OBX!! Awesome food and staff :)
The restaurant is very attractive and clean. Great fried chicken and sides. Barbecue and brisket sandwiches are very good. Staff is attentive and go above and beyond to please. Went there once when I was on medication and not feeling well and found myself unable to enjoy my lunch. The manager (?) noticed my distress and came over to see what was wrong and insisted on getting me a bowl of chicken and dumplings in place of my sandwich. That was a kindness I'll never forget.

brisket was good, fried chicken was good , ribs were terrible, tough to eat and cold. pretty disappointed in this meal.

We love this restaurant. Fast service and the owner is very friendly! We traveled to OBX for vacation and visited here twice!

Great atmosphere, staff, price and awesome food! The proportion is perfect! I've driven 2 1/2 hours just to eat at this place. Highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.
