Service was good. The crabs and steamed shrimp was delicious.
I take my mom here a couple times a year in the off season for AUCE crabs. Seems like they're always the first in town to have AUCE and they never disappoint. We upgraded the AUCE this time to the AUCE with the Large crabs and it was worth it. The crabs were large and packed solid with meat. We sat out on the new upstairs deck and it was nice. I'd check this place out, you'll be glad you did.
Baked potato cold and steak tasteless. Jim's seafood not very good some was very dry. To top it off they started mopping the floor while we were still seated. $100 total waste.
First time eating there truly enjoyed myself and good price for the amount of food :)
The good was very good and the hush puppies are amazing. I love e the powered sugar on them.
Definitely can't wait to take my family back to OC just to eat at Higgins! The atmosphere is super friendly and the wait staff - definitely OVER tip them, they more than earn them!!!
I had crabs and they were so good. I literally had to force myself to finish them, that's how full and meaty they were. It was a slow night due to the weather. Got to chat with my server. Had a nice time.
