Would not recommend Dr. Hien Nguyen to anyone else. My mom went in for an annual physical; when she told Dr. Nguyen that she had chest pain upon exertion, she had my mom do a bunch of lab work that she (my mom) eventually found out was not covered by her insurance, despite being reassured multiple times that since she was referring my mom, she won't have to pay. Would not recommend Dr. H Nguyen - came in for an annual physical but was billed for outpatient services. Similarly, preventative tests that should have been covered by insurance were billed as diagnostics. I do not feel Dr. Nguyen is a patient advocate and I am disappointed. I would also take the reviews of doctors on the Providence website with a grain of salt - they do not survey everyone as none of my family members were offered any surveys. I would have loved to provide my feedback!
The staff are always so nice and welcoming. Dr Hien is so patient and friendly. She always makes my doctor visits so comfortable.
This was such a positive experience. The doctor was kind, professional, and thorough. She listened and asked good questions, putting my daughter very much at ease. Her overall demeanor is so pleasant, and it's accompanied by intelligence and insight. Highly recommend!
Dr Nguyen and her nurse are the best! We loved her bedside manner. However more important is her kindly, intuitive, professional manner. She takes the time needed. She orders all tests needed and makes referrals to other specialists needed. We highly recommend her!
