The Hideaway was completely different than we expected. We would rate it a 3.5 stars. We were expecting a quieter quaint hole in the wall restaurant and it is not that. Line out the door when we arrived but the hostess found us a two person spot in comfy chairs in the bar area. As it was the bar area, it was loud so not sure if the actually restaurant seating was quieter. We are middle aged so maybe noticed that more. Service was good and attentive. Typical bar atmosphere
This place was great until we dealt with the manager, Nick. We were charged $100 for VIP entry, which Nick personally took, and that didn’t even include the additional $20 entry fee for the venue. What really ruined the experience was what happened after. After only two drinks, one of my friends asked for water, and shortly afterward, people who appeared to be friends with Nick kicked my friend out.
