Okay so this apartment complex has a lot of bad reviews, however I want to actually shed some light. They are now currently owned by the PCHA - and ever since then, this place has been seriously cleaned up. My apartment has no infestations like ants, bedbugs, cockroaches, etc. It is also free of mold entirely. Not a single spec of black mold or mold of any sort. Great residents best in world maintenance/grounds keeper.
Something is off about this place. Joy Clendening, the property manager, set up a tour with me, called me day-of to confirm the appointment, then didn't show up. No email or call, nothing. Honestly I'm glad I dodged a bullet.
I definitely agree to 90% of what is said about hidden firs i have lived here 3 years now. I was pretty nice when I moved in there was a manager that lived on site also a maintenance man. When they left and a property management company stepped in . . . Well they aren't here for us and welcome to the ghetto! Property management chased about a 3rd of the tenants out and filling apartments with rude disrespectful younger people, almost all have medium to large dogs ( I'm a huge dog lover but not a fan of stepping in crap) not ... read more
Very interesting management style... They prefer the "put notices on your door and send you notices in the mail rather than knock on your door" approach. Conviently located next to the homeless camp which makes for all night fun. The garbage is perpetually overloaded due to rampant dumping from people that don't even live in the apartment complex. A definite step above homelessness.
