Hicks is my first call for big or small jobs. They’re fair, honest, and they work till the job is done well. Highly recommend.
Called them out to check my septic pump that wasn’t working. When the lid was opened, the pump kicked on. They told me they didn’t know why it wasn’t working, but probably the float. I was told that the float wasn’t replaceable and if it messed up again, they’d have to replace the entire pump for several thousand dollars. A quick internet search revealed that the float was replaceable, and I’ve since gotten the part and replaced it. Careful with these guys, they’ll upsell you an entire pump that you don’t need.
The plumbers did a good job but I was charged based on the degree of work and not for the actual time the plumbers where at my house. The service charge is $150 no matter what you have down. I asked the plumbers if they could take a look at a few things after they fixed my outside spigot and they did just that. They looked over a few things and made some recommendations to replace the valve on two of my toilets. That was some great work for that 1 hour of service.
