I have bad allergies but I still go to Hick's because the atmosphere is very pleasing and even entrancing, which goes with the season. Also, love their hayrides!
Once you enter the grounds of Hick's Nursery's it's like a breath of fresh air. They present the seasons to their finest! Always an uplifting visit!
Went to see Santa. Such great decorations and holiday set-up. Such a big place.

Typically, we love visiting Hicks, especially for their holiday events. You can tell what an effort they put into having kids' activities. This past weekend we brought our son to see Santa and his reindeer. When we arrived in the morning, a store employee told us the line was about 40 min long. Well, about 90 min later we finally saw Santa. Everyone was pretty patient, and it's nice that Hick's provides this for free. My toddler was so afraid of Santa..I wanted to give up easily but Santa took his time with him and in the end even gave him a hug.
I love taking my grandchildren here. The holiday decorations are beautiful. At the end of a long winter I look forward to the flower show.
Purchased a Christmas Tree last year with LED lights , looks amazing and worth the money !!!
Had a great time at fall festival today with my family. I love the variety of plants and plant items there. The staff is quite knowledgeable when you have questions. One issue- bought a cute little peace lily. Read over the description on the store sign describing care and I could have sworn it said pet safe (I remember a little icon that looked like a dog). Internet research later on told me this plant is highly toxic. I assume I read the sign wrong or for another plant next to the peace lilies.? But thought I'd bring it up... read more
