Mostly been coming here the last few months to get an idea of what everyone else was experiencing. I used Dennis for all of my corporate, and personal tax needs for close to 20 years, and was quite fond of him. Found out the news of his passing about 7 months after it happened, and within a month of tax prep, noticed all of the emails were bouncing back, and phones were off the hook. Don't usually write reviews but this has truly been the worst experience I have ever had with any service/business in my life. It's been a huge headache since March. Submitted my documents, no one contacted me, called multiple times over the months, each time was told someone would contact me, wasn't until July that our taxes were filed but then when I had questions regarding our refund (which still hasn't arrived to this day btw), they fell off the face of the planet. Like others used Hicks for years dropped off taxes in January and was told they filed extension then dropped off planet. They have ALL my tax info going to call IRS and report. Hate to do after using them for years but I’m at a loss as to what to do
