I am eternally greatful to Dr. Adams at Hickory Vet. We are 1 week into Cybil's treatment and she is like a new dog...she is constantly wagging her tail and her energy seams almost limitless. She's even back to wrestling with Honey, our 2 year old lab....And Cybil wears her out. Tonight is Cybil's first night in a LONG time she is going to bed without having to wear the muzzle to keep her from chewing herself....I am going to feel so much better going away knowing my family....ALL of them are doing well...
It's never easy to have a sick pet, but Dr Melissa Adams was amazing in helping us with our epileptic great dane. She was more than willing to consult with specialists and try different things to find what would work for our girl. And though we've lost the battle with epilepsy, Dr Adams was still there for us and left me a very sweet, caring voice mail after hearing about our dog's death. My K-9 partner had to suddenly retire due to an illness and ultimately had to be put down. Due to dept. policy, he was not a patient at Hickory, but I took him there because of my past experience with my pet dog. The staff at Hickory were very supportive and compassionate making the difficult task bearable. Thank you for taking care of my partner.
All the staff there is the best, from the front desk to the techs to the doctors! All of them truly care about their patients. They are also very accommodating with fitting you in to see the doctors. 5 Star all the way
I have been dealing with Hickory Vets for 14+ years...you guys/girls are the best! From the staff at the vets office, your kennel facility and the feed store. I just lost my beloved girl Rue of 14.5 years. Dr. Adams helped me...it was the toughest decision I've ever made. Thank you for not only taking care of Rue all those years but for helping me take care of her. All the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. I sincerely appreciate everything you have done.
