The park is on a beautiful location on the Anclote River along with gorgeous sunsets. The office administration was very accommodating when we made our reservation. HOWEVER, there were several things that could be improved on. 1. Bathrooms and showers were shut down in the campground the entire time we were there. This should have been communicated to us BEFORE they took our money and before we arrived. 2. Amazing place and staff. Upon our arrival checking was made very easy. Then escorted to our site to make sure we would fit. All the people staying at Hickory Point are very friendly. It is nice to sit down in the park area and see people fishing, kids playing, etc. I see staff members constantly moving through out the park picking up garbage, cleaning laundry room, and bathrooms. Kudos to both Wendy and Lauren for being so friendly. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!!!!
Can’t have any political or offensive flags on your boat while tied to their dock but can have your boat wrapped in this??? I believe there are many people who find this offensive!!!

Poor management / ownership. Can’t keep boat slips in order cause campers to be confused , terribly communication could have easily called saying they Moved someone in the slip but no had to go ask other boat owner them go find the owner.
They are very rude. Asking customers to remove thin blue line flags. Prefer freedom of speech. No thanks!
Unfortunately it was reported that this facility ask its paying patrons to leave because of flags flying on their boat. The flags were not confederate or inappropriate language and the boat owner has served this country. I would not give money to a facility that censors my personal freedom
Back the blue. You should never single someone out because of a flag that is flown on their boat that is not inappropriate in anyway. The silent majority is awake and will not support you!
