RecommendedHickory Point was a big surprise! The premium back in sites are tight for larger rigs but everyone was very nice to move vehicles to get us in and out. The river area is a great place to relax and only a short way from any of the sites. The laundry facility was clean and had new appliances. The staff was nice. The only BIG disappointment was the day after we left. We stayed for seven nights and if you stay for more than six you are charged for your power. Not for just the days over six but for every day! Enjoyed this week at Hickory Point. Great staff! Clean, comfortable and safe. Only about 60 sites, a tad close, but really easy in/out. An old Florida fish camp, now a handful of mobile homes, but mostly RV sites. Crushed shell, level, easy to back in sites. The picnic tables are awesome! Waterfront with large area on the river: chairs, volleyball, horseshoes, fire pit and boat ramp (smaller boats). We did not use the “facilities”, so no comment. We stayed for 3 weeks at Hickory point in November. We loved the park. We have two big dogs One is a Doberman and some parks won't accept him, Hickory Point welcomed both our dogs and had a big off leash dog park for them to run in. The farthest spot in the park to the river is at most a 2-3 minute walk. I was able to fish and more importantly catch fish every day right from the riverside at the park. Beautiful view from the waterfront site had a guest dolphin stop and say hi as we enjoyed the evening. Dog park is large and the campground is clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend!

Hickory Point RV Park is a lovely RV campground. Beautiful landscapes...but best of all is the view of the water. I love that there is a common area for all to use with plenty of seats. Activities for the kids. Dog friendly with a big dog park. Very clean. We paid for a premium site....but that was the only thing we weren’t too happy about. When we arrived and saw the size of the site it was disappointing. We Also had a house right behind our RV (private residence)...that was a bit odd. Been coming here for years. Staff is great and Park is beautiful!
Highly recommend this RV Park! On the Anclote River with amazing sunset views including dolphins! Staff is super accommodating and well-kept grounds provide a safe seclusion for a getaway.
Nice place. Nice people. Our first RV experience and they made it easy. Very accommodating.
