This place looks like some sort of prison compound. Its in an old section of town and the other apartments close by are all Section 8 like these are. Not being a jerk but you know you get bad elements with that. They are cheaply built and there are no ammenities to speak of. If you have any sort of problem the maint. man will try to fix it, but its very amateurish. Its just kind of drab and cheap there. the managers at hickory knoll were very nice when we lived there. Rick the maintenance man didnt seem dishonest to us as the last post said. he was always friendly and made me feel like there was someone who cared about keeping the property nice. the manager lady Sharon was also kind and courteous anytime i had to come in to the office to sign stuff. my apartment wasnt perfect and brand new, but it was a clean safe place to live.i went from a shelter to hickory knoll and now have my own place. it is nice to have the help fro... read more

I would like to let everyone know that hickory knoll apartments has been a nice place to live. My family and I have lived here for four years. No complaints about fixing any problems i have. Sharon Rhodes is very understanding and will try to help you any way she can. Rick the maintence man is an understanding and helpful person.
THIS PLACE SUX. THE MANAGER SUX. THE REPAIR MAN SUX. I LIVED THERE FOR 2.5 YEARS AND IT WAS A NIGHMARE!!! THE MANAGEMENT CAME IN TO MY APARTMENT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO AND THEN KICKED ME OUT BY LYING THAT I WAS DOING SOMETHING THAT I WASNT.
