Onion rings were good but the burnt ends... They should be cubed not chopped and shredded. Also soooo dry. I have eaten at many BBQ restaurants across Kansas and Missouri and have to say this is the worse.
I had a great experience for my first time. As I BBQ alot myself, I choice to eat something I normally don't smoke. So I had burnt ends. With sides of baked beans and coleslaw. It was all really good
The Hickory Hut is a MUST for our Salina visits! We've tried everything on the menu and it is all fabulous. Pulled pork, burnt ends, baked beans and the loaded baked potato (ohhhhh that baked potato sauce!!!!) are my favorites!
Been eating the BBQ for many mamy years. #1 place in town for BBQ. Try the slammer :)

Great food and service I stop by there everytime I'm in the area
I'm so glad we decided to eat here. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Between the four of us we had the Texas stacker, the slammer, ribs, baked beans, the Santa Fe potato, French fries, and all the different barbecue sauces. Everything tasted great. We will definitely be returning!
Not many things can beat the Slammer basket. Or the ribs. Or the brisket. Hard to pick a favorite because they're all great!
I have a new addiction. ....Hickory Huts twice baked potato ☆☆☆☆☆☆
