A country retreat at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains 9 miles west of Gettysburg, PA. Offering quiet cottages and rooms with whirlpool baths. Full breakfast except on Sunday, when a basket breakfast is taken to your room. Dinner is featured in a beautiful restored barn. Serving visitors since 1977. Two night minimum required on weekends.

Hickory bridge is by far our favorite place to eat! I am a foodie through and through and nothing tops it. The service, the atmosphere and the delicious food is wonderful. Some of my favorites are the crab imperial, warm bacon dressing, broccoli and cheese and of course ice cream pie! I moved to NJ a few years ago. We plan a trip back to central PA each year and we always visit hickory!
We all ways have a great meal and time there, we took our grandson for the first time and he loved the food the barn and all the old stuff, he can't wait to go back.

I’ve been to This Restaurant many times and always pleased. I will say I wasn’t impressed with the crab imperial. It wasn’t as flavorful as I remembered years ago. Other than that the food was good. I love the pears, the stuffing and the warm bacon dressing. Our waitress was great. They were very accommodating as we had a food sensitivity with one of our party. The owner is a gem. We have also stayed in one of the cabins and that was lovely as well. Will definitely return.

Every time my family has been here it has been amazing!! There wasn't anything served that we did not love. This is my 7 year old daughter's favorite place to eat! The service and food are always extraordinary...& We have decided that we are going to make the 45 minute drive monthly to eat here!
