We moved into the newly built 2Bed2Bath apartment by Hickory in May 2024. Ensuite shower silicone started to have mould underneath the silicone in March 2025 (less than a year). I even have a dehumidifier in my bathroom. In July 2025, the other shower started showing signs of mould as well but they refused to fix it this time as they claimed that Defect Liability Period has expired. (just 2 months later). We purchased four apartments in the Victoriana building, Melbourne completed by Hickory in mid 2021. The exterior door handles have required repair in three of the four apartments and they are charging $918 for each repair. Substandard materials and terrible service. Be careful on your warranty with these guys. Whilst the double glazing windows and doors have long warranties the locking mechanism just a single year because it is 'high use'. Terrible experience and would not recommend.
