Disappointing Build Quality and Ongoing Noise Issues I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying, investing in or living in a Hickory development carry out thorough research and due diligence as I wouldn’t recommend or purchase anything that they build. We have lived beside a construction project managed by this company for approximately 18 months. During that time we’ve experienced repeated construction noise issues, construction vehicles parking on the lawns immediately outside our apartment building and damage to the grass. We have consistently had to raise the parking issue directly with project management and push for workers to stop using the grass as an unofficial car park. We moved into the newly built 2Bed2Bath apartment by Hickory in May 2024. Ensuite shower silicone started to have mould underneath the silicone in March 2025 (less than a year). I even have a dehumidifier in my bathroom. In July 2025, the other shower started showing signs of mould as well but they refused to fix it this time as they claimed that Defect Liability Period has expired. (just 2 months later).
