It was great! I thought the place was a little sketchy because of the mixed reviews, but I went anyway. Booking the appointment was a cinch, and I got mine for the next day. Michelle was super nice and the salon was a relaxed and welcoming environment. For my first ever experience going blonde, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Michelle gave me a total refresh, nice modern cut with layers and curtain bangs. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted (thin textured balayage style highlights with a cooler tone) with a kind of not ideal base of like 5 different hair colors already on my head. My hair can be stubborn sometimes with lifting (Asian hair) and can turn orange very easily. As you can see, my “after” photo has zero orange and very fine natural looking highlights with depth.
