Had to stay near Hermosa Beach for the Christmas holiday and found this place. It's basically a hotel room sans the room service. Room was spacious and clean. There are a lot of places to go to around the area but you would need to drive. I would stay here again.
I give this place 5 stars because it is definitely worth the price, safe, and gets the job done. The small couch in the room was pretty stained, otherwise mostly clean (bathroom seemed brand new). The woman at the desk was so nice and very helpful, but she seemingly runs the place herself so is not always there if you have an issue, and the phone number listed here didn't connect to the front desk at all. Great stay! The receptionist was awesome and super supportive, making the experience even better
Wasn’t a guest just a buddy for dinner while he was in town. Have no idea of room rates, amenities, or other services but his room was cool. Slightly on the smaller side but he was in town only over night. It is fairly beach close there’s a Target fast/casual food choices nearby, and other entertainment or business and personal services within an Uber/Lyft ride away.
The room was pretty good for a motel type place. It's very difficult to actually get in touch with any staff there though. You can call constantly but never get an answer and nobody seems to be in the office during their posted business hours (even using the doorbell they put in there) so its almost impossible to deal with issues or requests (e.g. - couldn't get help with the fact the soap dispenser was empty, couldn't reach anyone the day of checkin to answer questions until right before checkin time, couldn't get in touch ... read more
