Received my Slant Lap and have already had it working hard! I have completed several cabs and they look great! So far I can't say a bad thing about it. Being slanted allows me to sit in front of it which is a huge benefit because I have osteo-arthritis and standing for long periods of time is very painful. Thanks Hi-Tech!
Quality machine. No getting it out of its shipping box and thinking what did I just do? Most of the stuff coming from overseas looks great on the websites then you get it and it seems like a knockoff of what you saw.

I’ve had my hi-tech diamond slant cabber and an 8in trim saw for about a year now. I have had no problems with the machines whatsoever. They are easy to use, way less expensive than other options for lapidary equipment, The customer service in this company is one of the most helpful I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I always recommend this company and their products and I don’t ever plan on changing that.
This is just my first impressions, more to follow. The 6 inch flat lap appears to be well constructed and very easy to put together. I've just received it and look forward to spending many hours on it.
I oredered an 8" all you need lap wheel. The order was prompt and on time and the machine is up and running and is just about all I need except for some great rocks to work up. It will be enough for what I want to do at home. Thanks
