Wonderful Everything! – This has been my favorite breakfast spot for the past 6 years. The food is ALWAYS wonderful. The service is great. Sure, the wait can be long during peak brunch hours - but what good restaurant isn't? The food is worth the wait and it arrives promptly once you order. hollis – This is by far the best breakfast I have ever had. I live in San Francisco, but every time I visit Seattle I make an effort to visit this inviting and cozy restaurant. From the charming front of the house owner, to the lovely staff, to the fabulous food - who could ask for more. Now they are opened for dinner - extremely casual fare but really, really well done. Believe it or not, at night it has a completely different romantic feel to the restaurant. I have never had a dish I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
1 hour wait for poor service? – I have a tip for the Hi-spot employees -- 1) You either want to work in a busy place or not. If you dont, get a job somewhere else. Apparently none of you have figured out this pearl of wisdom. Service: Rude (especially the baristas) Food: Decent (see below, hard to screw up) Price: Ridiculous (its eggs and cheese for godsake)
Home away from home – This is pure Seattle in the atmosphere - cozy, fun, friendly, a little funky, great food.
