Overall great experience. The salmon dinner was superb. Great flavor and the steamed veggies were cooked perfectly

Titanium elite member in Portland for a business trip, but accidentally left my wallet & ID in Arizona. Had a photo of my license as well as the state government issued digital ID which TSA & the rental car Company accepted without issue, but was denied at check-in at the HILO. Offered no option to verify my identity outside of a physical driver's license. Called the AC hotel down the street who stated that the digital drivers license is a valid government form of identification and they happily checked me in for three night... read more

Do not stay at this hotel. Unfortunate for an autograph hotel. While being titanium bonvoy members, we had no early check-in, were placed on a second floor where the air in the hallway and our room was permeated with the smell of marijuana, we listened to loud noise and sirens all night, and received the lowest amount of Marriott points from any stay in our history as bonvoy members, and were never offered any normal Marriott bonvoy perks.
