My husband and I stayed at the Hi-Lo Hotel during a business trip in July, but the incredible service, amenities, and location made the visit feel like a true vacation. Our room on the sixth floor was fantastic, with beautiful high ceilings, an incredibly comfortable bed, and a wonderful bathtub that was perfect for a relaxing soak after a busy day. My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff here are the true highlight. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Inside the property, everything was fantastic—the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.The neighborhood can feel a bit rough around the edges, but it's Portland! Keep Portland weird! I would definitely stay here again
The rooms and the lobby are beautiful and the service was great but do NOT stay here unless you would like to be serenaded all night with the car noises associated with multiple nightclubs nearby, this included loud music, cars back firing and consistently revving their engines, there was even a fireworks “show” at 5 AM on a Saturday morning. My Husband and I got the corner suite and cannot even enjoy a good night sleep due a terrified dog that is shaking the bed in fear of all of those extra loud noises.
The Hi-Lo is not only a fascinating & gorgeously renovated historic property, but the staff are nothing but kind & considerate, truly going the extra mile to make our stay fabulous! Also the bed was super comfortable & the shower was divine! Can’t say enough good things!
Hi-Lo Hotel was a beautiful Portland experience. The General Manager, Casey, made a real connection with us during our stay. He consistently checked on us, talked with us, and remembered details about our trip. I felt genuinely welcomed here, like returning home after a long day. The staff at Craft PDX were also extremely personable and the food (and coffee!) were excellent. Rooms are smallish, but quaint and tied to the historic nature of the building.
