I went for my first ultrasound after finding out that I’m pregnant. My husband came with me and (believing we were 6 weeks) thought we’d see a heartbeat or at least be able to see our baby. The staff were nice on the phone and told us to arrive with a full bladder for ultrasound. I drank as much water as I possibly could and when we got to the ultrasound, the attendant pressed really deeply into my abdomen and made faces- seemingly expressing her doubts of my pregnancy.
