HGM COMPUSHIFT 79 camaro I just installed this with a 4l80E in my 1979 Camaro with carbureted 383 and love how easy it was to set up. The accu linj was crazy easy to calibrate and configur. The initial tune that it came with is great. I had also talked with their tech support before I ordered it. I can't say enough on how great they are
Purchased the compushift mini and absolutely love the product. Works way better than i expected. I would definitely recommend this.
I installed a Compushift Mini in 75 W100 Dodge with a carbureted 318 and 46rh/518 transmission. This thing just works! I tried using governor line pressure with hydraulic switches and Vac switch for kickdown and it does work but is unreliable and not consistent. Very good transmission controller for my GM 4l60e. Quality parts and cable harness. Easy install, well documented and good APP for setup & control with my smartphone.. All install parts were included and quick shipping. Very good online ordering process to insure I received the right parts for my install. I am very happy with the shifting performance of my transmission. I would purchase again.
I am using the compushift sport to control a 4L80E automatic transmission in a diesel powered Chevy pickup. The truck has been converted from electronic to mechanical injection pump, and the factory power control module for both engine and transmission functions is no longer being used. The 4L80E functions better with the compushift sport than when controlled by the factory PCM!
