After a nightmare with a fi tech transmission controller I was Fed up with not knowing when the car going to shift or not , purchased the HGM controller and not only is the wiring harness and connections half the size it was much simpler to install and was Perfect on the first drive! Thank you !!
Just installed on in a 71 C10 454 4l80e swap, on test drive it wouldn't get above 2nd gear, called support on the side of the road, it rang twice and a gentleman answered, told him my codes and my problem, he said "Oh yeah well you've got the plug upside down, flip it over and you'll be good to go" flipped it over, drove on back with ZERO ISSUES, highly recommend!
The Sport Compushift by HGM is a really good product. Before purchase I called the company and received great product help and obtained the correct PNs for my application. Installation was a breeze. Wiring was all set up and ready to go. Just a few wires to hook up. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Good downloadable app for viewing running data and changing shift points, line pressure, TCC apply, and more. Totally recommend!
I highly recommended HGM. The module is unbelievably good. Quality of the module and wiring is extremely nice. It has made my project functional. I don't believe it would have been possible without a COPMUSHIFT. (Toyota/Kubota diesel conversion) The customer service is second to none. They offer a wealth of knowledge that he has gladly shared to help me get it shifting.
Great company. Using their compushift to control mt 4L80E in my 71 GMC. They worked me with on what I thought were some irregularities in the data-logging program (but weren't). Also using their TPS kit for my Holley. It's pretty great and better than Holley's TPS in some ways.
