We hired HG create for a number of reasons. The owner, Taryn, displayed a high-level of enthusiasm and energy. We wanted new flooring, countertop, sink, backsplash, lights, and painting of the cabinets, walls, and a hutch. With her creative ideas, she was able to bring together the colors and what works best. It's been about 2 years since we made the wise decision to have HG Create paint our 40-year old kitchen cabinets. They were very high gloss and not well taken care of, but they were solid wood and unique, and we saw beauty in them still. I had the absolute best experience with Taryn and her company. First, Taryn was lovely and so easy to communicate with. I had some issues with another company and she was able to get over to my place that next day and get things going. She helped pick out an AMAZING color and made sure it would go well with the walls and countertops since I wasn't planning on changing those. Taryn came into our home to consult the finishing work on our basement. It has been a catch all and we wanted to update the space and make it a place we enjoyed, and not just a catch all. She recommended paint colors and while we planned to do much of the painting and work ourselves, she was very helpful with ideas and even pointing out how a color we thought we may like may not coordinate well with another color we selected.
