The sublime cuisine was a revelation. It reminded me of the first time I dined at Charlie Trotter’s, it is that good. Just go.
We did the four course tasting menu, so we got to try 8 manu items. Nothing disappointed. It was delicious! The buttered celeriac noodles and chicken liver tart were absolute favorites! We decided to forgo our reservations and eat at the bar because sometimes you get a better feel for a place eating at the bar. A truly excellent dinner. Expertly prepared, fun and tasty food. Gracious everpresent but not overbearing service. Beautiful space that’s not too crowded or too loud. I feel this is an under appreciated gem in Minneapolis.
The food at Heyday was amazing - and I should know, as our table got pretty much everything off the menu! The service was really great, with multiple people coming to check on us throughout the night. Everything we ate was so interesting - I highly recommend the sea bass! The desserts were delicious, and the atmosphere was really cozy! I highly encourage people to check this place out :)
Our anniversary dinner was made special by Heyday. Lovely ambiance and beautiful presentation of food. We did not reveal our occasion. The host was enthusiastic very polite and wanted our business, checked back many times.Loved this experience
Second visit, last night. With five friends. Shared a four course meal, oysters, and quattro latti cheese. My friends were very impressed. We had excellent service and our food was outstanding. I love this place.
