Total knee replacement went very well. Dr. Herzwurm explained what was to done. He visited several times during recovery. His staff was very organized. Post op /pre op appointments were all clearly communicated. Hospital staff called to verify all my medical history to ensure the best out come on the day of surgery. All went as planned. As expected I was very sore afterwards but Dr Herzworm and Hospital nurses kept me very comfortable. I was able to walk on my new knee on same day. Dr. Herzwurm was absolutely terrible, do not go to him. I went for hip pain and when he saw me he completely missed that my hip was significantly out of place (found out from a physical therapist I went to after he was no help). As I was leaving I overheard another doctor telling him that the x-rays looked like my hips were out of line and I heard him brush it off and say that I’m going to physical therapy anyways. I had bilateral hip surgery 11 Years ago, and this Year knee replacement, Dr. Herzwurm is the best. Excellent at answering any questions, and explaining the procedure. 100% trustworthy.

I had a total hip replacement 6 years ago..I cannot recommend Dr. Herzwurm or his staff highly enough. I have been back to see him for other joint issues and he explains everything thoroughly and answers any questions you may have. You are never rushed during your appointment nor is any question to trivial.
Dr. Herzwurm and his staff are wonderful. My knee revision surgery went very well. Would highly recommend him.
