Hervey Bay hospital could be amazing. Unfortunately after 11 years of dealing with this and Maryborough hospitals staff, I am currently in agony with crushing anxiety at the thought of dealing with the staff... 70/30 chance of being treated amazingly. Feeling heard and treated like an actual person not a number who isnt an easy box to tick for fixing. Incompetent hospital and staff, misdiagnosed on multiple occasions and wait time are extremely long. Staff seems more interested in talking rather than helping
The hospital is incompatint and unprofessional, first i had injured my finger waited 3hrs to get an exray then another hour to be treated after already having waited over 3hrs at the emergency clinic in other words over 6hrs from when injured witch is over the time for infection to becomes much more significant. Secondly my mother after having a doctors certificate saying that she was a category 2 (moderat risk) she was left waiting 6 and a half hours and ended up leaving to the reception asking "oh did you not get seen yet"... read more
After waiting 3 years to get the pain in my new hip assessed I.got a phone call to tell I.had a message, where we live the phone service is crap, it rings twice then stops, the message told me to call out patients at the hospital, so I did,3 times in 45 minutes, no one answers. Bullshit
