had a fantastic experience with Hertz! The reservation process was quick and easy, and the staff at the pickup location were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The car was clean, well maintained, and exactly what I booked.

While traveling with my kids, the tire on our rental car popped. I contacted Hertz, and they assured me we’d receive a replacement vehicle at no cost. They arranged for the car to be towed to the nearest location at the St. George Airport and even ordered a Lyft for us, clearly stating we wouldn’t be charged. While we were already in the Lyft they scheduled, they called us back and said we would be charged for the ride — and even worse, that they had no replacement car available. We had a horrific travel day and ended up needing a rental last minute. Josh at Salt Lake City was so kind and helpful. I’ve always been an Enterprise person but from here out I will use Hertz. Thank you so much! You made two weary travelers smile for the first time in two days.

Beware of this Hertz charging you a $400 fee for ‘Outside Washing’ if the car is returned arbitrarily “excessively dirty.” Who decides how much dust, bugs on the windshield, etc is too much? Since I rented a one-way rental (from Vegas) and returned to this location, how does St George’s Hertz know the condition (dirtiness) of the car when I checked it out? I didn’t drive through mud.
