My experience with Hertz in St. George was absolutely unacceptable, and I would strongly caution anyone before renting from this location. After calling 46 times trying to get help, the manager, Sam, finally spoke to me and was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was told that “it’s my fault for booking a last-minute car rental” and that if I didn’t speak to billing within 72 hours, I was essentially out of luck on getting my refund. Sam was extremely helpful after having car troubles from Vegas. Highly recommend.
Buyer beware. Horribly rude customer service. Including hanging up on me mid sentence. And insisting there was zero escalation options. Also provided a car with tires that needed inflation. I’ll likely never be here again, but I’ll certainly never use hertz again.
Had a Hertz claim with rental car, came to get an exchange and was told they would be open until 1030 along with Google hours confirming. Got there at 7pm with a paper sign on the desk saying they closed at 630pm.
