Loved this place! Was concerned because I never stayed off the Boardwalk. Now I will never stay on the Boardwalk! Close to everything. Beautiful place! The owner is awesome! View and the pool are great. Place was so clean and the bed was so comfortable! Bernee' the cleaning lady does a great job and is very friendly!!! Can wait to go back next year!!!Highly recommend !!!!
We love coming here and have done so consistently for the past 5 years. Mr. McCabe (Wayne) is always so welcoming, hospitable, and does a great job along with the help of Bernee' in maintaining the Herringway property...they treat their guests well, my husband & I have been vacationing in Ocean City for many years, it's become our second home, and since we re-discovered "Wayne's place", there's no place else we'll stay. Nice location around 20th Street. Near the boards and plenty to do within walking distance. Cleaning lady was just down right rude. I see by the other reviews this is no suprise to anyone.
Very nice place clean and prices are great Wayne the owner is very nice guy, he keeps the place up the cleaning lady does a great job but complains and your family takes over the pool. the beds needs to be replace, great location, parking is good and walking distance to fishtails!! we have stayed there 5 times in the last 3 years!!
Just found this site by accident looking for the address to send in my deposit. This will be my third year at the Herring Way and I love the place. It is a shame they have mattresses so old your almost afraid to sleep on them. I not sure about the cleaning staff thing, but these people have it right on the beds.
These reviews are so on the money!!!!! Great location, pool is great. Matresses and bed spreads are the worst. The "cleaning lady" I read about was in fact a complainer and her family did take over the pool every single day.
Please buy new bed spreads these things are gross, brillo pad back side. Matresses are over 20 years old as another person said. I found the tag with the date of 03-1989, really 1989. Nice location, parking and nice pool.
Found this place by accident, has an outdoor pool, and great location. The bedding is old school and matresses are over 20 years old according to the tags and comfort. New furniture would be nice. The rates are in line with other locations. I found the other comments left on this site to be true about the cleaning lady, very unprofessional.
Just finished staying here for a week. The place is clean and typical beach apartments, needs new matress. Quite bayside location, clean and average price.
