TLDR: Hero quoted me $3,919.85 for a unnecessary repair. Another company fixed my A/C for $500. I bought a house a few years ago and called Hero when I started having issues with my A/C unit. They came out a few days later and after what seemed like a thorough inspection, told me that i needed an entirely new compressor, which would cost $3,919.85 (including installation).
