I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. About a month ago, I went to this store with my partner and left feeling so unbelievably gross. The much older white woman was unbelievably rude from the moment we walked in. I was excited to go into a herman miller store for the first time as I am a fan of the furniture and was redesigning my space at the time. The two white saleswomen were the most racist I’ve ever encountered. They never asked if we needed any assistance and even forced us to get up from the sofa we were trying to buy. When we tried a few chairs, they told us to turn them back to their original angles—even though we hadn’t even moved them around. Because we felt discriminated against, we decided not to make a purchase. As we were leaving, the blonde woman with big hair rolled her eyes at us.
Word of warning. Get everything in writing, and make sure they apply any discount on the original invoice. One order over $20k on which I was to receive a store discount. I was told it couldn’t be applied on my sales invoice, only after all pieces have been delivered. My stacked shelving came partly broken. Still waiting on the replacement a year later..
