This place should be shut down. Incompetent, unprofessional rude staff. I Iwas there for a bleeding problem but all the nurse practitioner wanted to talk about was a Pap smear. She didn’t even ask why I was there even though I had filled out their paperwork and then gave the same info to a young girl wearing jeans. IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. This is the worst place ever. They make me loose a day of work just to come in and tell me we need to reschedule a pap after they have done two paps on me and didn’t collect enough of a sample. It’s ridiculous. Of course coming in to them is money in there pockets, that’s all they care about. Plus you never see Dr Carsten he is never there and always has his helper there. She is no help what so ever.
I was assigned to Dr. Cartsen from my insurance. This is the worst Dr. office I have ever been to. The office is very dark, dated and dirty. The rooms are disgusting looking. The staff are so rude. I asked a woman where I should leave my urine sample and she got an attitude with me. You will wait for at least an hour past your appointment time. They charge a fee to complete a simple paperwork. I have never met the Dr he was never there in 8 months. I can not wait to change Drs.
The office is extremely outdated and uncomfortable looks dirty and gloomy Dr. Wasn't in.. the nurse practitioner seem uncaring and not very knowledgeable of anything or my prob.and I was referred by my GM Dr. she's all over the place rushing from lunch minutes before my appt never took time too try to expline anything circled a few things on my US results and that's it I'm still unsure about exactly what's going on with me this place is a mess I wouldn't feel comfortable taking my clothes here
Came here looking for a birth control option, and the doctor prescibed something my insurence didn't cover. I have called the office 3 times with no help. They all promised to call me back, and i have yet to hear a thing in 3 days. The last call, the staff said they would call the pharmacy and see what was wrong and give me a call back. I never received a call, so i called the pharmacy to see if the doctors office had called, they said no. Dr.Carsten has terrible staff that do not follow through
Today was the last straw with this office. I have seen dr Carsten himself twice and his PA's at least a dozen times. However since his regular PA left the Brockton office a few years ago I have lost total faith. Wait time anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. Conflicting information and absolutely will not recommend his Brockton Ave office. If you do have alternative options using another OBG as a patient go that route !
The office is always under staffed. The average wait time is over an hour. Dr. Carsten is never there. Over my total pregnancy I met him 1 time. He has a group of doctors he works with and the main physician I met with at all my appointments was not an OBGYN, only a nurse practitioner. She was very kind but the overall experience was disappointing. With my first child I had Medical insurance with my job. However, with my 2nd child I had IEHP insurance. I wouldn't recommend this practice.
your office girls are rude not willing to help. I called in regards my procedure and this particular girl was not professional with me. What a shame now i need to look for another GYN.
Dr.Carstens is wonderful! His staff is RUDE! Especially Elba and Jeanette, non compassionate, non caring. I've been waiting months for a surgery date and continue to get the run around. I'm now looking for a different doctor.
