We has a Catholic funeral plan for my mother in the amount of 17,500. We paid automatic monthly withdrawals for 18 months. We didn't cancel the auto withdrawals at 18 months and paid until 20 months. Therefore, good Shepard's cemetery and heritage told us that we lost $9000 since we didn't cancel the auto payments from our checking account. It's not like we didn't pay on time each month.
