Took me off two dangerous meds way to fast I even told them something didn't feel right then all of a sudden I had a horrible seizure and was taken to the hospital by ambulance! I straight said I didn't feel right and they kept pushing it was just anxiety but the hospital said the seizure wad caused by taking me off 2 meds way too fast..and they didn't even feel bad for their malpractice!!
My daughter was recently a patient at Heritage Oaks Hospital in Sacramento, and our experience was very concerning. When she was first admitted, staff didn’t even realize she was a new patient, which resulted in her missing her first meal. For the morning she was not properly provided with basic necessities like clean clothes. The facility itself did not appear clean — there was urine on the floor that was not addressed. Admit staff were wonderful. Cameron, social worker, was amazing. Nursing staff has been attentative. Attending physician and psychiatrist leave much to be desired.
I never thought I would say this but I am very grateful to the staff. They are were very caring and kind at a dark point in my life. The only knock was that there was to much down time
It was a tough several weeks but with the help of the staff, treatments, and social worker Aileen my wife was able to make a full recovery. I am very grateful for the care they provided.
